Black and White Pictures

I have always loved photography and especially erotic photography, after all they say a picture can say a thousand words, however I believe that only happens when the picture is taken by someone that has spent there time refining their art. For me there is something else that matters and that is the medium. For all the colour pictures in this blog and on my Tumblr, often it is the ones that are in black and white that have the most effect.

There is something about a black and white picture that only the best colour picture can only hope to achieve and I'm not sure what it is. In away they look more real and yet that is a paradox because we live in a colour world. The fact is they have more power to get over there eroticism than there colour counterparts which in someways seem more clinical because of the colour and leave less to the imagination. May be someone in the know can leave me a comment and tell me why black and white pictures seem more erotic.

I have decided that this month Tumblr feed will feature black and white pictures rather than colour and I have ready made a good start as you can see if you follow the link at the side of the blog. I just hope those that follow the Tumblr get as much pleasure seeing what I post as I do in finding the pictures.

I have  really been enjoying messing about with tumblr over the last few weeks, much more so than Twitter, which I'm sure I will get back to at some stage. Tumblr Update

Regular readers will know that last week I published a post on my tumblr feed, well is is still early days, but I have managed to find a theme I like and I have updated the site as well as adding to my collection of pictures. It goes without saying I will add more content soon, in fact it is rather addictive.

So far I have added all kinds of things that I have found and other stuff I have rebloged. All of them things that interest me. It is amazing how much your tumblr account say's about you and, in the case of an adult feed your sexuality too. I just find it amazing that people are following the feed and have the same interests too, but then again sex is a draw for all of us.

I'm still working on the theme for my tumblr and before I get it right I still I need to learn a little more coding. The standard themes offered by tumblr seem so uninspiring, but thankfully there are a lot of themes out there you can modify to suit your needs.  I would love to see what others that read the blog are upto on tumblr so why not leave a link to your feed in the comment box for us all to follow.

Tumblr Feed

Like so many people on the web I have have enjoyed many of the pictures people have posted on Tumblr over the last few years. It is a great source of pictures and of video clips too. Over the last few weeks I have joined the Tumblr craze and started my own feed or pictures that haven't made the blog yet or that I just love and haven't had the space to include.



I did try and include a feed to the Tumblr account here on the blog, but it not that easy since no blogger gadget exists to do it for you. I did find some code to include a feed but I juts couldn't make it look right and fit in with the style of the site. Although Blogger and Tumblr think they are in the same market, hence why there isn't a blogger gadget, I guess, the truth is that Blogger is more suitable for the written word mixed with pictures while Tumblr is ideal for pictures and video. There are different beasts and compliment each other perfectly, a bit like Blogger and Twitter.
